Program Overview

The Spanish Business Major is sponsored by the Department of Modern Languages and the Department of Business. It offers a core business curriculum and weaves second language study throughout the entire four years. Special attention is given to the development of cultural understanding with direct experience in Latin America.

Approved Spanish courses at the Universidad de Granada, the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Valparaiso or Universidad de Adolfo Ibanez, Vina del Mar, Chile. Students should select two business or economics courses, and they should also select among a variety of humanities courses that may include grammar, literature, history, art history, or political science. Students should confirm with the Department of Modern Languages that the courses that they select are approved for the Spanish Business major.
