SPAN 322 Applied Phonetics

An examination of the Spanish articulatory system including an introduction of pertinent theoretical concepts in phonetics and phonology and the application of these concepts in various exercises of written transcription and oral production. Class discussion may also address issues related to regional variation and Hispanic dialectology.
