OCCU 524 Theoretical Perspectives in OT

The major theoretical perspectives, occupation-based models, and frames of reference will be discussed. Opportunities to compare and contrast major occupation-based models and apply them to occupational therapy assessment and intervention will provided. Emphasis will be placed on the importance of using theoretical perspectives to guide occupational therapy practice for clients with a variety of occupational needs.
