EDME 535 Teaching Internship

This course is a mentored field experience of 90 hours in one or more educational contexts. A minimum of 20 field experience hours should be actual teaching hours.The contexts selected should be appropriate for the student's career goals, and may be with any age learner. If desired, students may seek more than one context for their field experience hours, in order to experience a diversity of educational contexts. The balance of the course, an additional 14 instructional hours, is comprised of online course work that is integrally tied to the field experience. Throughout the course, students will demonstrate skill development in instruction and assessment, collaboration in educational contexts, and application of faith to educational practice.
