AER0863 HEV and EV Steering, Suspension and Brakes (CCP)
Prerequisite: AER0883 (with a grade of C or higher)
Corequisites: VPI0100, VPI0200, VPI0300
This course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to proficiently describe, test, and diagnose electrical steering, suspension, and regenerative brake systems in hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) and electric vehicles (EVs). Through a combination of theoretical instruction and hands-on practical exercises, students will gain an in-depth understanding of these critical systems' components, operation, and maintenance procedures.
