Concepts and principles of marine biology. Oceanography concepts will be presented as well as topics specific to marine biology including: adaptations to oceanic life, primary productivity, plankton and nekton, marine community structure, and human interactions with the ocean. Three hours of lecture per week. MA or MS in Biology program.
