EP 480 Exercise Physiology Internshp
This course will provide supervised practical experience(s) in the specialized area that the student anticipates a career. The internship instructor and the student will arrange the appropriate internship site. The student will complete 200 contact hours of observation and/or practical expeience throughout the 6 total credit hours to be distributed over the course of at least 3 semesters. Each of the first 2 semesters will be taken as a 1 credit hour course that includes observation and professional development. After completion of these 2 credit hours, students will complete the final 4 credit hours in one or more clinical and/or field sites over one or more semesters. This is a variable credit course. Students must also complete a project approved by their advisor during the internship. Students must have an overall GPA of 2.5 or internship director's approval. Prerequisites: EP 325/326
