PHTH 8220 Physical Therapy Professional Issues

This course introduces students to the history of the profession and its professional associations, such as the American Physical Therapy Association. It also introduces the Guide of Physical Therapist Practice and the physical therapist examination and evaluation process. The student is prepared to demonstrate professionalism and cultural competency in all interactions with patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
