MUGE 213 Music Through Percussion

Provides students with an introduction to the history and appreciation of Western music from the Renaissance to the 20th Century. Provides opportunity to study the elements of music through percussion instruments. The course, which will include the study of music by the major composers of the various historical periods, is examined through reading, listening to recordings, class discussion, and concert attendance. Meets QuEST/General Education Arts requirement.
