MUGE 210 American Popular Music

Survey concentrates on musical styles and types popular in American culture during the 19th and 20th Centuries; content includes the investigation of such types as pop songs, ragtime, jazz, and rock. The course requires active participation in listening to and performing popular music. Meets QuEST/General Education Arts requirement.
