EDSP 385 Communication Disorders

This course is designed to acquaint students with the fields of speech language pathology and audiology. We will discuss a range of communication processes as well as common communication disorders that affect these processes acorss the lifespan. Special emphasis will be given to what speech-language pathologist (SLPs) and audiologists do to facilitate communication in individuals with communication impairments including family interventions and direct interventions.
