OCCU 508 Enabling Occupations

In this course the students further examine the concept of occupation and how disability affects occupational performance across the lifespan. Students will reflect on the value of therapeutic use of self in promoting health and participation in occupations. Concepts such as the intentional relationship model, communication, and client-centeredness will be thoroughly discussed and analyzed. Use of non-standardized screenings such as interview, occupational profiles, and skilled observations will be addressed.
