EDME 552 Issues and Ethics in Online Teaching

Students will focus on the legal, ethical, and professional behaviors required in online teaching. Through case studies, readings and discussions on ethics and professionalism, students will become familiar with policies and standards which currently exist in their intended teaching contexts, with the goal of not only understanding current legal and best practice parameters, but also envisioning appropriate ways forward in the emerging field of online learning.
