Course Repeat

Undergraduate students may repeat any courses in which they received a grade of “D” or lower. Both grades will appear on the transcript but the first course will be excluded from the cumulative grade point average (GPA) calculation.

Students who receive a grade of "D" or lower in a repeated course may request to repeat a course a second time by submitting a letter to the Division Dean indicating why they were unable to pass the course on the first two attempts and what measures they will take to ensure success in the third and final attempt. If the request is granted, students may only be enrolled in the course being repeated and must complete an Academic Success Plan. Only the first course taken will be excluded from GPA calculation.

Repeated courses may impact Satisfactory Academic Progress.
