ART 2387 Art Glass III
This is an advanced course in glass. Students are encouraged to explore different processes and techniques in glass that include stain/panel, slumping/fusing, and blowing of glass. Continued development techniques and concepts related to glass will be encouraged. Specific emphasis will be placed on development of a focused thematic content. Prerequisite: Completion of
ART 2386 or instructor permission. (2 lect., 4 lab)

Outcomes
In order to successfully complete this course, the student will:
1. Create a portfolio of glassworks that are advanced in concept using advanced techniques and processes in glass.
2. Critique their own artwork as well as that of their fellow students and contemporary and historical artists.
3. Identify the symbiotic relationship between art and culture.
