ART 2177 Digital Imaging II
This course builds on the ideas and design concepts presented in Digital Imaging I. Students will use current Adobe CC software to solve design problems and create original works of visual art. The course will teach advanced methods of combining images and text, pictorial composition, and layout. Prerequisite: Completion of
ART 1177 or permission of instructor. (2 lect., 2 lab)

Outcomes
In order to successfully complete this course, the student will:
1. Utilize various combinations of digital imaging software
1a. create original works of digital art employing two or more programs
1b. actively participate in class discussions about processes associated with digital work.
2. Competently arrange visual elements
2a. produce original works of digital art that creatively demonstrates the use of the elements and principles of art
2b. actively participate in regularly scheduled critiques.
3. Employ design/technology for complex visual problem solving:
3a. Utilize the design process to create original works of art both in and out of class;
3b. actively participate in class projects;
3c. actively participate in class critiques.
