MSS0274 Pathology (CCP)
This course provides an overview of common pathological conditions encountered in massage therapy practice, with an emphasis on understanding their etiology, prevention and effects on the body systems. Students will examine how these conditions influence massage therapy, including determining indications and contraindications for treatment. The course integrates theoretical knowledge with practical application, enabling students to apply appropriate massage techniques, including Swedish massage strokes, while adapting interventions to support safe and effective client care.
