NURS 707 Advanced Family Nursing Practice of Children and Adolescents

This theory course provides an introduction to primary health care for children and adolescents. Key points include developmental theories and concepts of children and adolescents; physical and developmental assessment of children and adolescents; identification and management of health conditions of children and adolescents and the impact of health conditions on their families; and rationale for physiologic and psychological treatment measures in children and adolescents.
