NURS 703 Advanced Family Nursing Practice of Adults II

This theory course focuses on a continuation of diagnosis and management of health care needs of adults and their families in primary health care settings. Key points include preparation of family nurse practitioners to address health promotion, disease prevention, early detection and management of common acute/chronic/complex health care problems of adults in primary health care settings. Emphasis is placed on pathophysiology, etiology, incidence, clinical findings, differential diagnosis, complication management, and patient education and preventative measures.
