NURS 701 Advanced Family Nursing Practice of Adults I

This theory course focuses on diagnosis and management of acute needs of adults and their families in primary health care settings. Key points include preparation of family nurse practitioners to address health promotion, disease prevention, early detection and management of common health care problems of adults in primary health care settings. Emphasis is placed on pathophysiology, etiology, incidence, clinical findings, differential diagnosis, complication management, and patient education and preventative measures.
