EQST 2705 CHA Equine Facility Mgt Certification
The Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) Equine Facility Management (EFM) Certification is a certification from the CHA, the International Association for Safety and Education in Group Riding. This course will evaluate the student's EFM skills through written tests, skills demonstrations, lesson teaching, and interviews with clinical staff. Officials from CHA issue the EFM certification. A certification fee will be determined based upon the number of student enrolled and the cost assessed by CHA. Prerequisite: Completion of

Outcomes
In order to successfully complete this course, the student will:
1. Complete CHA EFM Certification clinic
2. Complete CHA EFM written tests with a minimum passing grade of 70%
3. Attain a score of 31 or higher on the CHA EFM evaluation form with a minimum of 7 in safety
4. Demonstrate the ability to work safely and effectively in a stable which will be evaluated by written tests, oral exams, and skills demonstrations
