University of Wyoming Transfer Agreements
Central Wyoming College and the University of Wyoming have partnered to provide degree-specific transfer agreements that assure students that courses taken at CWC meet UW degree course requirements. The ‘Block Transfer’ was written for students who have earned a qualifying transfer associate degree (Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS), or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)) with a minimum of sixty (60) credits in any major from one of the Wyoming Community Colleges (WYCC) who wish to complete their bachelor degree at the University of Wyoming.
These transfer agreements are designed to provide students with a clear pathway to earn an associate degree in a specific major at CWC, transfer to UW, and earn their bachelor’s degree in the same major on-time and without excess credits.
Students planning to transfer from CWC to UW should use these transfer agreements in consultation with their advisor to ensure they are taking the right coursework to complete their associate and bachelor’s degrees.
If you do not see a transfer plan for a degree you are interested in, check back, as agreements for more plans are completed each semester. If you have questions, please contact your advisor or UW’s Office of Academic Affairs at 307-766-4286.
