CEP 463 Leadership in Community Education
This course is designed to provide an overview and insight into the unique skills required for the leadership in community-based organizations. Topics include volunteerism, service, fiscal management, budget planning, and stewardship. A strong emphasis will be placed on exposing students to varied leadership styles, challenges of non-profit and not-for-profit organizations, and available community resources. This course includes field-experience(s) in local community and/or community-based settings. Students are responsible for their own transportation.
