Program of Study - International Sustainability Management Certificate

Purpose

Sustainability has become the key requirement of all modern enterprises to survive and grow in today's global environment. Managers equipped with tools on w to move towards sustainability are needed to guide enterprises into the globally competitive market. Those who complete this certificate will become sustainability champions who can drive socially beneficial, eco-friendly products and services that optimize resource usage and resource networks. Students graduating from this program will learn to rethink the value of the business model embedding sustainability in its core values 

Admission Requirements

To be admitted to the certificate program, prospective candidates must first meet all requirements for graduate admission to UT Rio Grande Valley.

  1. Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in the United States or a recognized international equivalent in a similar or related field.
  2. Undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 in the last 60 semester credit hours.
