ENGR 462 Power Systems Engineering

This course provides an introduction to the application of electronic circuits to energy conversion. Topics include modeling, design, analysis, and control of DC/DC converters such as solar charge controllers and solar DC/AC inverters. Common industrial and automotive applications of brushless DC motors, brushed DC motors, and AC induction motors are also studies.
