BIOL 413 Molecular Biology

Emphasizes research techniques and recent advances in molecular genetics including the structure, organization, expression, and manipulation of the gene. Experiments in recombinant DNA methodology include cloning, transformation, restriction analyses, PCR, site directed mutagenesis, and DNA sequence analysis. Three lectures and four hours of laboratory each week. Lab Fee: $65.
