NURS 602 Foundational Concepts of the Family Nurse Practioner Role II

This course is a continuation of foundational concepts of the family nurse practitioner role presented in NURS 601 Foundational Concepts of the Family Nurse Practitioner Role I. Key points include aspects of the advanced practice nurse/patient relationship, teacher/mentoring roles, introduction to health care delivery systems, technology in practice, quality and safety indicators of clinical practice. A verification of advanced physical assessment, clinical skills, and simulated patient care is required in the simulation laboratory.
