MLS 418 Mycology
An in-depth study of the of the theoretical and technical aspects of the medically important fungi found in the clinical setting. The following topics are included: Micro & Macroscopic Morphology, Taxonomy, Culture Techniques, Superficial & Cutaneous Mycoses, Subcutaneous Mycoses, Systemic Mycoses, Yeasts, Saprobic fungi.
Prerequisite
Student must be in the Medical Laboratory Science program.
