THEA 2220 Stagecraft
This is a concentrated course in the theories and techniques of planning, building and handling stage scenery, lighting, and proper-ties. It includes practical laboratory work with CWC productions. (2 lect., 2 lab)

Outcomes
In order to successfully complete this course, the student will:
1. Identify, explain and safely operate power and hand tools
2. Work safely in a scene shop environment
3. Identify and explain theatrical rigging and its hardware
4. Use standard scenic construction techniques
5. Identify theatre types and standard theatrical equipment
6. Read scenic design and construction drawings and execute
7. Handle and move scenery safely
