FMT 1500 Custodial-Facilities Attendant
This course introduces students to the safe, efficient, and effective performance of custodial duties in a commercial environment. Major topics of this course include chemical cleaning agents, effective disinfectant application, cleaning and polishing techniques for a variety of surfaces, cleaning techniques for different floor coverings including carpet, tile, and hardwood floors, and spot and stain removal techniques for a variety of surfaces. This course also introduces students to techniques used to efficiently and effectively clean restrooms, showers and culinary facilities. Students will be required to demonstrate mastery of safety, work ethic, soft and technical skills required of custodial - facilities attendant. Prerequisites: Completion of
