CMAP 1500 Computer Keyboarding
This course is designed for the non-typist who desires to learn the keyboard for use with computers. It introduces the touch operation of the alphabetic and numeric keyboard. (S/U grading only) (1 lect.)

Outcomes
In order to successfully complete this course, the student will:
1. Apply the touch method of typing by not looking at the keyboard or the hands and keying from the text.
2. Demonstrate a reasonable rate of speed and accuracy while keying timed writings.
3. Use keying, proofreading, and editing skills to compose simple, error free documents
