EDUC 559 Advocacy, Communication & Public Policy

This course provides an overview of advocating and communicating the needs of groups of people and recommendations for meeting those needs with the goal of influencing public decision-making systems. Particular attention will be given to telling an impactful story, effective methods of advocacy, and connecting with local, state, and national decision-makers.
