HEAS 490 Senior Thesis

The mission of Ethnic & Area Studies is to graduate students with a multidisciplinary understanding of culture and in-depth knowledge of at least one culture or cultural/racial/ethnic tradition who can apply this knowledge in church and society to become effective agents of social justice and reconciliation. This capstone course will include independent research on a topic chosen by the student in consultation with the faculty supervisor, and will thoroughly engage a primary area of interest in at least one culture.
