APHS 170 Concepts of Conditioning

Introduction to the basic foundations of physical fitness and wellness concepts. Particular emphasis is placed on the fitness components of cardiovascular endurance, body composition, muscle strength and endurance, and labs emphasizing flexibility. Students design and implement individualized exercise programs, and significant class time is devoted to vigorous sport and exercise sessions. Meets QuEST WELL requirement.
