Program Description

The Associate of Science in Software Development program combines practical experience with current programming languages, tools, and processes in the field of computer science. The general education prerequisites encourage the student to develop critical and creative thinking, computation, and communication skills utilized in the industry. The program courses are designed to help the student develop skills that are highly sought after by employers in the industry. This includes programming concepts utilizing databases, mobile devices, security, and DevOps using current programming languages. The student will work with real clients from industry on team-based projects that synthesize the knowledge and skills acquired during the program.
