BIO 214 Anatomy & Physiology II (Health Professions)
The second in a two-course sequence that examines the fundamental structure and function of the human body, emphasizing the physiology of the major systems not covered in BIO 212 including the cardiovascular, respiratory, immune, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. Three hours of lecture plus a two-hour active study session per week. The course is designed for students in the health professions, not for biology majors. Successful completion of BIO 212 is strongly recommended as a prerequisite.
Corequisite
The active study session must be taken concurrently.
