SLP 512 PROFESSIONAL WRITING IN RESEARCH FOR THE SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

This course is designed to introduce and develop technical writing skills in graduate speech-language pathology students.  It involves critical readings and synthesis of research in the area(s) of communication sciences and disorders.  Students will gain experience in peer-reviewing, writing article reviews, presentation proposals, publications, and the basics of grant writing.  Particular emphasis will be given to APA format and the creation of published-ready works.  This course is to be taken in conjunction with SLP 510 Capstone in Speech-Language Pathology.
