SWK 306 Counseling Theories
An introduction to basic counseling theories used in the clinical social work setting. This course will focus on the techniques and management skills employed by social workers in dealing with all clinical settings highlighting emergency and crisis. (SWK 301-Introduction to Basic Counseling Skils - listed in the previous bulletin meets the minimum criterion for this course and is an acceptable substitute for credit.) Prerequisites: PSYC 101 OR 201 and WK 400
