Biology: WLU/WVU D.E.A.P. (B.S.)

Students completing the B.S. degree in Biology, WLU/WVU D.E.A.P. major, will be required to earn a minimum G.P.A. of 3.6 overall and in the major and to earn at least a “C” in each course in the program to participate fully in the WVU DEAP portion. Students not meeting the 3.6 GPA may still complete the DEAP major at WLU provided they maintain a 3.2 GPA overall and in the major with at least a "C" in each course in the program. The WLU/WVU D.E.A.P. major is designed for students intending to matriculate in post-graduate professional dental school programs. Students enrolled in the WLU/WVU D.E.A.P. major may be eligible for the Dental Early Admission Program (D.E.A.P.) with the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. For more information on D.E.A.P., please see the Biology Chair or a Biology advisor. The WLU/WVU D.E.A.P. major requires specific General Education course selection; please see Biology Chair or a Biology advisor.
