BIO 421 Epidemiology Of Infectious Disease

Basic principles of epidemiology and a survey of some of the common infectious diseases caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoans, and other invertebrates, for example, tetanus, syphilis, gonorrhea, influenza, scarlet fever, hepatitis, food-borne infections and intoxications, and streptococcal diseases. Pre-req: A basic course in microbiology.
