BIO 460 Molecular Biology
Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic DNA replication, transcription and translation processes covered in detail. DNA repair mechanisms, chromosome structure, regulation of transcriptional events, and posttranscriptional and post-translational modification processes are also covered in conjunction with replication, transcription and translation. Three hours of lectures per week. Must be taken concurrently with BIO 461. Molecular Biology Laboratory. Pre-req: BIO 208 CHEM 110, 111, 112, 113.
