PHAS 5107 Introduction to Pharmacology
This course is an introduction to pharmacology, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacokinetics. Topics include pharmacodynamics, drug-receptor interactions, agonist/antagonist, desensitization, tolerance, drug absorption/distribution, drug metabolism, elimination/clearance, drug administration, and dosing regimens used in clinical practice for patients across the lifespan.
Prerequisite
Admission into the Physician Assistant Studies Program.
