Assessment of Academic Programs
The purpose of this assessment is to discover the strengths and weaknesses of the academic programs of the University. To determine the level of student success in relation to stated desired program outcomes, a variety of means is used: standardized tests, institutionally developed tests, and attitudinal surveys. The results of the testing and the surveys are analyzed, interpreted, and evaluated by the appropriate administrative offices and are used as a component of the decision- making process with regard to the continuance, discontinuance, and/or improvement of academic programs.
