SED 321 Fundamentals of Instructional Technology

This course focuses on the fundamental use of computers and other technology in the classroom. Students participate in hands-on instruction with special emphasis on accessible instructional materials (AIM) and assistive technology for students with disabilities. In this project-based course, students use the Universal Design for Learning to create lessons for content areas, integrating modern technology software and hardware in K-12 and special education classrooms. Students become knowledgeable of available resources and ethical issues with computer use.
