SED 324 Collaborative Teaming
This course is focused on developing effective partnerships with parents, family members, general educators, and related service providers through the development of communication skills needed for collaboration, consultation, and teamwork in serving the educational needs of students with disabilities. Contexts, content, processes, practices, and support of school consultation are addressed. The understanding, participation and strategies needed to develop effective interactions with other school professionals and parents are emphasized. Includes a field component.
