EDU 311 Teaching Reading in the Content Area
This course is designed to provide an examination of various techniques by which teachers can promote increased student achievement in reading and language in the content areas. Candidates know and understand the stages of reading/language development, as well as the major components of reading and language instruction. In addition, candidates examine diverse materials and various research-based methods, activities, and strategies that promote achievement.
