EDD 801 Applied & Action Research

This course explores action research and the associated theories, methodologies, and practices that have been used by successful transformational leaders to achieve organizational change. Candidates will examine the basic tenets of action research, including action research and organizational improvements models; the components of a literature review; and strategies for organizational problems and strategies for improvement through systematic inquiry and reflection. The course also explores the identification and application of a theory in relation to each candidate's research problem. Individual and collaborative research will be explored.
