BIO 553 Clinical Pathophysiology

This course focuses on the altered physiology associated with human disease. Course topics include etiology, physical signs and symptoms, complications, prognosis, and treatment of common disorders. Laboratory is integrated with lecture. Students are assigned a research paper on a specific disease process, utilizing professional peer-reviewed healthcare journals as sources for the research. Students with undergraduate credit in BIO 453 Clinical Pathophysiology may not take this course for graduate credit.
