BIO 395 Medical Microbiology

This is a course primarily designed for Health Sciences and Biology majors. Topics include a survey of the organisms, such as viruses, bacteria, archaea, and select parasites, as well as cellular organization, genetics, and bacterial physiology. The mechanisms of pathogenesis are introduced, followed by the essential principles of immunology. Lecture and lab are integrated.
