PRMT 116 IV & Sterile Product Prep/Lab
This course is a lab/lecture course with the emphasis placed on the hands on skills necessary to prepare sterile products in compliance with current pharmaceutical standards of practice. The students will be introduced to sterile product preparation including syringes, needles, vial and ampoules as well as small volume and large volume preparations. Student will cover TPN and chemotherapy preparation and procedures that govern the preparation of these products.
